Knockfarrel iron age hill fort, Strathpeffer

Knockfarrel is the largest hill fort in Ross-shire. Learn about the iron age and vitrification while taking in some excellent views and looking for wildlife. The ground is rough so please bring a reasonable level of fitness, lunch and sturdy footwear. This event is part of Highland Archaeological Festival. 4.5 mi/7 km.
